KTVT TV is a CBS owned-and-operated television station serving the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Working with the night-side team on the 10pm evening news, I wrote scripts for the studio anchors. This involved participating in editorial meetings, researching and contributing local story ideas, as well as scanning national news wires and third-party news sources. During the live newscast, as associate producer, I was responsible for coordinating live shots from reporters in the field.
