First airing in 1992, Shortland Street celebrated its 25th Anniversary in May 2017. With around 40% of all viewers tuning in every night, Shortland Street is New Zealand's longest-running and most successful serial drama. The show is broadcast in several international territories including Fiji, Australia and Ireland.
