One of the best things about staging a new work in Dallas is the people. The theatre community and local media are hugely warm and welcome outsiders like family. Like any big city, Dallas is full of transplants - so much so there is a saying locally, "I'm not from Dallas, I just got here as soon as I could". It's so true. I am missing Dallas terribly, so my return this weekend is very exciting, especially since my little musical Broadway or Bust, will finally be shared with audiences after living in my head for fourteen years! A big thanks to Arnold Wayne Jones (executive editor) for a lovely interview in this weeks edition of Dallas Voice. Read it here.
